PEI Business Federation Ltd. (PEIBF) is a provincial non profit membership organization, representing PEI's Small Business Companies and Entrepreneurs. PEIBF is proud to represent the small business sector of PEI and our mission is to preserve and promote Island entrepreneurs from every sector including manufacturing, service, retail, professional, agriculture and construction. Our members are as diverse as the economy which they fuel. Our mission is to work to ensure the small business community can get benefits, fair treatment in services not only from government, but also banking, labor, tendering and other institutions.
Formerly PEI Business Directory, we have not only grown to market and promote small business, but also have worked hard to develop health plans specifically designed for small business and employee benefits giving small business owners protection for their staff and families. As a group we now can level the playing field with larger companies, disability coverage for owners and staff to protect incomes and life's savings - including business overhead. Point of Sale - Visa/MC/Debit in partnership with Global Payments to save small business huge dollars to compete with much larger operators. Plus web design, app design, insurance related products and business services.
Small business are still the backbone of the economy and we invite you to support local enterprise, buy local whenever possible and take the time to give us your comments and stories - both good and bad - and allow us to keep working to preserve and promote this important sector of the Island economy.
Small business owners together making for a better environment for small business to succeed.
Over the past 2 years PEI Business Federation Ltd. has helped many small business owners deal with loss of income, financing concerns, refinancing issues like bankruptcy, divorce, separation and other issues facing home and business life - We Care and Understand. Unlike regular workers, small business owners face these obstacles alone and many times without benefits because they are not eligible for many of the benefits their own staff enjoy - which they help fund - fair - probably not but happens.
